What rescoot is

rescoot is an umbrella for open-source projects around electric two-wheelers whose manufacturers disappeared or never had decent software in the first place. We build cloud replacements, replicate firmware, document parts, and connect people who need the same things. Current focus is the unu Scooter Pro, alongside Horwin EK1 and a couple of related platforms.

Who's behind it

rescoot is a community effort. The server infrastructure and most Sunshine development are carried by Starsong GmbH. librescoot is built by a broader team that we support. Decisions happen on Discord and GitHub, no BDFL model.
